Let's be honest and not google this. How many original Variants of Ubuntu are there? Can you name them all and do you know what desktop comes with them? And if you are real smart, you can name the version number of the desktop.

Do you mean official versions, or the unnumbered remixes and respins?

AFAIK the official ones are:

Ubuntu
Kubuntu
Xubuntu

The unofficial ones are:

Lubuntu
Edubuntu
Mythbuntu
ARM

Then there's about a zillion derivatives.

I was thinking of the official versions. I know there are a lot of remixes but I believe there are 10 official ones.

Edit: thats 10 without counting Ubuntu itself.

You have 5 of the ten, I didn't count ARM or Ubuntu. Now see if you can name the Desktop that is the default and its version.

Ubuntu.com seems to list six "derivatives" apart from Ubuntu itself. Not sure if they've dropped the official/unofficial distinction though.

The desktops installed are pretty self-explanatory, they only one I'd be unsure of is Mythbuntu, since it doesn't really use a traditional desktop. I'd assume it would have Gnome or maybe XFCE underneath.

If you look at the releases of Ubuntu you will find 10. and yes Mythbuntu comes with Xubuntu-based XFCE4 desktop OS with MythTV installed.

I'm confused. Do you mean old variants from previous releases like Netbook Remix? Or just the current ones?

All the ones I am talking about are current ones. Not Remix. Not ones like gOS, Mint, or Peppermint. 5 that have been mention were Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Eubuntu, and Mythubuntu. There are 5 more. For example:
Kubuntu KDE 4.7.2
Lubuntu LXDE ?
Xubuntu Xfce ?
Eubuntu ? ?
Mythubuntu Xubuntu-based XFCE4 desktop OS with MythTV installed

I know KDE version because I am using it. Now besides these 5 there are 5 more. Don't forget the translated ones.

I don't know much of the Ubuntu variant except those from Ubuntu website, But I know enough to do my work like processing photo, document, internet, watch movie and listen to song.

I was only thinking of Desktops but if we added these two it would make 12.

Studio fair enough, but the others don't count by your own criteria.
