I just noticed that Edgy Eft has a version # of 6.10 when it should be 6.11 to keep on pace with the 6 mo. release cycle. I just fear that Edgy Eft will have less punch than other releases have.

I don't, I think you will find the success of Dapper will propell a whole new wave of energy in to Edgy :)

It is only going to be 20 weeks from Dapper's release for Edgy, to make sure they don't get out of sync. with GNOME. Of course, with freespire and Fedora on a 6 month cycle now, and the fact they release earlier than Ubuntu, there is more competition. Competiton makes things stronger, that's why Windows is rubbish.

Oops, your right. :P That means Edgy Eft is only given a 4 mo. dev cycle.

Very true, can't wait! (Not just for that reason; I'm going to see Iron Maiden, lol).
