Kontact or Kadressbook don't show any adressbook or contact

Hi, after spending hours searching for a solution I am quite disappointed that I could not find anything helpful dealing with this problem.

Since updating to 11.10. Kadressbook or Kontact don't show any contacts at all. This seams to be independent of the settings in kde resources.

Does anyone have a good idea here?
