Hi, can anyone explain how I delete files without a rubbish bin?
As I cant find one in 11.10

I don't know why it isn't there , I see one in unity and the Gnome shell has an option to place on the desktop . See if trash is listed in the left pane of the home folder .

but i dont even have "dekstop" in nautilus ... so what's next?
google shows always the same solution, but it doesn't work for me.

That page is for Ubuntu 6.06, which was release over 5 years ago and isn't supported any more. It had a different interface from the current version. What is it exactly we can help you with?

Indeed. But that's all sorted for me now. Managed to get the bin on the desktop itself, but currently using GNOME Classic, I have the rubbish bin at the top panel.
