Hey there,

I feel quite comfortable in these forums, so that's why I'm asking this wholly offtopic thing here :)

Does anyone know how to translate "wimax packet" information of a Clearwire modem into human readable format.

Or, in other words, what is "WiMAX Packets Received: 9000000" in megabytes or gigabytes?

:)

Would be hard to say as the packets could vary in size unless they use CBR.

If you go into the modems config interface what are the setting for modulation, QoS etc etc etc?

the modem/router seems not to support QoS and I don't see any item for 'modulation' in its menu. Nor could I find anything that could hint to the packet size / interface options it has... I wonder what the standard packet size would be.

Does it connect to the PC via the Ethernet interface or is it USB? If it's Ethernet you can always monitor your ethernet port traffic but that would also include stuff on the local lan if you have other devices you connect to.
