I am just in a quandry about google apps and what advantages it gives you. I have my own domain registered at 1and1 and basically all email is forwarded to my gmail account. What would the advantages of changing over to google apps be?
In particular I can't see the difference between sending email from gmail from the domain name email address (i.e. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=22370) and sending email from a google apps account?
