Recently I installed Ubuntu 11.10. Previously using lucid. Now I got couple of issues :
1. My wireless connection is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it connect, sometimes it dont. I am using lucid on my second laptop & It connect to wireless smoothly everytime. No. of times wireless is working on lucid but not on ocelot.
2. If I have headphone connected, before booting, then sound is mute. I manually on the sound.
3. If at the boot time headphone is connected, then I can listen only with headphone, not with the speaker & if I start computer without headphone, then speaker works as long as I dont connect headphone. As soon as I connect headphone, the sound is off & sound get back only after restart.
4. I manage to get my custom launcher (like eclipse.desktop) on quick-launch bar (or dash) & it showing icon properly, but when I switch using ALT+TAB, it shows '?' and not original icon.
5. I installed gnome-shell as well. but it seems its not working. I login to gnome shell using another user, but it shows just horizontal top bar with menus.
