I read this in Linux.com:
https://www.linux.com/news/featured-blogs/196-zonker/499069-some-analysts-still-dont-get-it
I don't understand how some unskillful people pretend to be experts.

First clue you can ignore this guy, he writes for Forrester. Those guys make their living keeping big IT shops off balance by constantly issuing conflicting reports and viewpoints. My current boss consults them often and his trademark is he rarely makes an actual decision, but boy does he read white papers.

Heh. Back in the day when I was a freelance journalist, I used to write white papers for those guys. I'd grab the raw research, write the paper, then one of the VPs would sign his name on it, and it would be sent out to all of their clients as their own stuff.

Great money. I could live on a month for what they paid me for one of those white papers. I can only imagine what they were charging the clients.

"Mike Gualtieri writes, "the real end to Linux's hope for world dominance came when mobile platforms iOS and Android cleaned clocks in the mobile market. Sure, Android is built on top of Linux, but Linux is only one of many piece parts of the Android mobile operating system. It is not Linux.""

First, I had no clue Linux was trying to dominate the world, and second, if it has any Linux in it, it will make the Droid go rogue and gain AI, therefore sealing the future for the Machines!! That guy has an iD ten T error.
