Hi,

I installed 11.10 on a few machines. Those using the NVIDIA drivers have problems, so I had to switch to ubuntu 2D, here is what I've seen so far:

1. In a dual monitor environment, unity 3D just does not work, even though the proprietary drives are installed, on the other hand, with 2D works.

2. The VNC servers only show the wallpaper, nothing works (the clients have a problem too, although not all of them, ssl/ssh VNC works).

3. Acrobat reader does not show the menus when clicking on any of the panel entries.

4. The dash icon could be extremely slow.

I'll keep adding more issues as I find them.

Daniel

I gotta say. 2d is a lot faster, hopefully it will be more stable on my machine (old nvidia card); I don't need the 3d crap to develop software. Thanks for the suggestion.
