Upgrade from 11.04 to .10 on a Wubi install?

I'm currently running Ubuntu 11.04 through Wubi's "Install INSIDE Windows" option (since I'm not too familiar with all that partition stuff) and I want to upgrade to 11.10 through the same "Install Inside Windows" option.

Can I do so without erasing 11.04 first? Because I've got a lot of apps installed and having to reinstall them is gonna be a pain
