So today I thought I would download Kubuntu Dapper. I have never been a fan of KDE infact I have always thought it look rather childish and way to Windows like.
I ran the live CD and to my suprise I was quite impressed. Everything was clean and it was not over bloated with software like other distros that use KDE.
Thumbs up from me on this one,
I dont know If I would ever use it as my primary desktop, but I may install downstairs on my brothers machine which has PCLinux OS installed and finds the wireless adaptor automatically.
Will this wireless adaptor a Linksys Wiresless G PCI WMP54G work natively in Kubuntu? If so Kubuntu will be installed downstairs asap.
My girlfriend thinks I am a geek. I dont care I find Ubuntu and Linux exciting to use and test.
