Hi.

I'm running Xubuntu 10.10 and I'm very happy with.

But I would ike to have the option of changing to the regular Ubuntu (by logging out and logging in again with a new session).

How shall I do to install it?
Will it have any impact on the Xubuntu performance or are they completely independent (once you log in with Xubuntu it doesn't matter if there's a Gnome Ubuntu installed)?

Here is a good link:

From xubuntu should can just install ubuntu-desktop, then you will have the option to login with different session. The XFCE performance shouldn't suffer, just keep an eye if any Gnome applications start loading under xfce when they shouldn't (like some of the Gnome specific startup applications).
