Hi friends!! My sister has just borrow me her laptop. It has Windows XP, and as you can guess, I want to install ubuntu. And when I give the laptop back to her, I don't want she to know I installed Ubuntu.

I know how to delete the partition for Ubuntu with the LiveCD, to resize Windows partition, but I don't know how I can delete the grub, so that the computer boot with the Windows boot loader again and my sister can't notice anything. How can I do it??

Thank you very much!!!

If you want to keep Ubuntu on the computer you can tell GRUB to boot to Windows and not display the menu.

I think your best option is to not install Ubuntu but run it from a liveCD or install it on a USB stick or external hard drive.

I suggest you leave the laptop your sister has kindly lent you as it is.

If you must use Ubuntu boot a live cd.
