On upgrading to 11.04, I faced the following problems:
1. Bluetooth did not detect (laptop device- is fine in 10.10)
2. HP LaserJet 1000 was not working in 11.04
3. Weather details were missing in 11.04

After upgrade to 11.04 I had to revert back to 10.10 .
So before upgrading to 11.10, I am confirming these problems.

I usually download the iso (write it to a thumbdrive) and test with that before upgrading anything.

My experience so far is that there are speed issues with gnome3 or that some of my oldest machines are now unsuted to run standard ubuntu and will be converted to xubuntu/lubuntu.

Currently there are lots of bugs with version 11.10. If you're used to having more than one person use your computer and using the switch user feature, that is broken in 11.10. If you switch users you'll lockup both sessions. It's a big problem to loose a session that has a number of applications running and being updated.
