Hi,
I am using xubuntu 11.10. I can play music with my hardware but have no event-based sound even though I have enabled event sounds.
How can I assign sounds to events like login, logout or question (like in Windows)?
Thank you

Xfce doesn't support event sounds. I understand there might be a way to jury-rig canberra into Xfce, but it looks like a pain to install properly.

It seems to add 'Canberra' automatically ?
I don't know what sounds it adds nothing happens at logout or in ?

Interesting. I hadn't noticed this until just now. I even missed this on http://xfce-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=25 somehow.
