Hello,

I installed multiload indicator,
http://www.webupd8.org/2011/06/indicator-multiload-update-brings.html

but the indicator is displayed on the bottom right on bar of the desktop, how can I put it on the top panel, next to the clock or weather indicator?

thank you in advance.

Any news on this?

I'm really missing this little applet, it seems like my laptop isn't communicating with me... scary :))

The program must be presenting its visual data as part of the systray / indicator system. That is positioned at the bottom right in gnome-shell along with instant messaging etc.

There is an extension to pop all of the items from the bottom right onto the top panel,
available at webupd8.

The link for the extension mentioned is

http://www.webupd8.org/2011/06/move-icons-from-message-tray-to-top.html

You can not only move things up to the top panel, but remove things you don't want, and move them about. I really must take my own advise and start using this extension myself.
