WLive files to TB.on Ubuntu

Hello, I didn’t like 'OS Windows 7' or its mail 'Windows Live' so i have transferred everything to new 'Ubuntu 11.4' installation with 'Thunderbird mail' .. but what i can't find out is how to transfer/export all my 'W.Live' mail folders,files and address book (from W.7 OS) into 'Thunderbird on Ubuntu OS' ?

The sooner i can do this i can remove W7. from computer! which at the moment is just serving as an email/folder archive.

Have you tried importing the mail etc from WL to TB in windows first and then moving the appropriate folders from the TB folders in windows to Ubuntu? It is often a lot easier than trying to do it from Ubuntu.

Mind you, I don't have windows, and have never seen win7 except in the stores or other people's machines, so I may be talking a load of rubbish!
