Hi,

Where can I logout and reboot 11.10 when using Unity (on 2D mode also).

The top right corner, which i think is supposed to have these options only has:

Switch User Account
Guest Session
* <My current session>
Online Accounts...
User Accounts...

I'm running 11.10 on VirtualBox under Windows 7, but I don't think that should make any difference.

In Ubuntu Classic the top right corner has both log out and reboot functionality:

Available
Busy
Online Accounts
System Settings
Lock Screen
Switch User
Log Out...
Shut Down...

The top right corner has an gear-shaped icon. Press it and in the lower part of menu there are "log out" item and "shut down".
To reboot just select "Shut down" and the same named window appears. The leftmost button in it is "Restart".

Thanks, but there is no gear icon. None of the top right corner icons contain anything resembling log off or reboot/shutdown.

I am having the same problem... No gear button whatsoever. Not liking Unity at all...
