I just had to delete my partitions on my drive due to a failure while resizing a partition, and so I was wondering if it is possible, and how to accomplish a goal of utilizing DM-Crypt/LUKS to encrypt the first partition which will hold kUbuntu 11.10 and Truecrypt to encrypt the second partition for Windows 7. There will be a second hard drive involved for storing music, movies, documents, etc. That will most likely be set up with truecrypt and a strong pass phrase.

So, here's a bit of a twist, and I know part of it can be done, I just do not have the experience and knowledge of linux, yet, to do this.

I once had my system boot from a usb drive which held the essentials to boot with, to include the bootloader, kernel, initrd, boot dir, and the key files to decrypt the disks with.

What I'd like to do is this, but adding in the option to boot to the truecrypt volume as well.

Is this possible? If so, how would I accomplish this and maximize efficiency?
Efficiency being without compromising the security aspects, how can I make this most efficient.
