can't start the administration sesion after installing ubuntu 11.10

I installed the new Ubuntu 11.10 but can't start the administration sesion. Why is this? What can I do?

Hi Welcome to forums

You mean you wanna be as root ?
open your terminal and type sudo -i it will ask for your password,then you will turn as root.
