Hi all, I need some assistance. I overwrote my /usr/lib/libgconf directory with the 32bit library directory, as well as /usr/lib/libgconf-2.4.so with the 32 bit version.
Running 64-bit Oneiric-- now,obviously GDM won't start, so I went to recovery console to reinstall it, but my network interface won't come up. Not sure how to proceed through this catch-22. Need network acccess to reinstall libraries, gnome, etc.. but network unavailable to do so.
Any ideas?
