USB mouse suggestions.

I'm fed up of my touch pad.

I want to buy a USB mouse and i'd like some community suggestions of good products.

I need:

Faily cheap. Less than £25 ideally.
I'd like wireless. As i don't have much space on my desk itself. I'd rather use it on the keyboard tray.
I'd like a few extra buttons, that i can map to keyoard short cuts. I use compiz. So mouse buttons for F10 and F12 would be great.
Easy to configure for ubuntu linux, i don't mind have to use the terminal as long as there's documentation of how to do it.

I have a logitech MX700 - (wireless/optical/rechargeable) it cost me £60 when new about 3 or 4 years ago and it's still going strong.

I bought my other half an advent mouse from PC world for xmas for around the £25 mark (wireless/optical/rechargeable) and to be honest it's wank. It has a built in power save that you cannot turn off so when you stop using it, it goes to sleep and you have to click to wake it up and the whole feel and movement is horrible :-?

It's worth saving up and spending a few quid more on a more expensive well known branded one.

It may be getting on a bit now but it really is excellent.

Word of advice - it may be optical but still buy a mousemat for it.
