Hi
I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and i have been using the spotify Linux preview for a long while without problems. I recieved and error message 2 days ago that according to the this

http://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/topics/getting_a_406_error_on_ubuntu_after_update

get satisfaction thread means i have to update my spotify client. Tried reinstalling following the instructions here to get the latest version

http://www.spotify.com/uk/download/previews/

As i tried to reinstall i get a message in terminal saying that it can't connect to the spofity repository. Even though i followed the instructions on the spotify site to the letter then i can't get it to connect. I even tried repeating the instructions a further twice just in case i go them wrong. The software center connects to the Opera repositories fine and automatically updates opera with no problems.

I apologies if there is something very obvious that i am missing here but this is totally baffling me. I have looked all over Ubuntu forums and get satisfaction and i am having no luck in finding a solutions.

I can't even get spotify to work under wine as every time it opens it just crashes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
