View Full Version : [all variants] how to get e17 extras?

Looking through the repositories, e17 main is there, but not the "extras". Those include some useful things, so I would like very much to be able to run them.

If I grab the sources and build them myself, do I risk inconsistency with the official packages, so that I'd be better off uninstalling and building all of e17 from source? Will extras ever show up in official Ubuntu repositories, or perhaps a ppa? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Do NOT mix source and binary.

Yeah, you better uninstall the (old) official packages and build everything you want from source. SVN is the way to go!

I just stumbled upon this...

Excellent. I'll give the ppa a shot and see what happens.
