I'm running Lubuntu 11.10, contrary to my name field.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has found a way to show a graph of RAM usage, network usage, Disk I/O, and disk usage similar to the already-existing 'CPU Usage Monitor'? I've tried to find a tutorial for it, but all my searches have turned up are ones for gnome. It looks like it may not even be possible without major work, which would be over my head I'm sure.

I've also tried running Conky, but I like to be able to see what's going on at a glance, so the panel graphs are nice to have, because it never gets covered up by windows. However, I couldn't get it to run with pcmanfm running; I could kill pcmanfm, and then I'd see Conky, but does anyone know of a way to get Conky configured correctly?

Thanks in advance, and it's not a pressing issue. I'm mostly just curious as to if it would be at all practical to undertake.

I'm running Lubuntu 11.10 (just edited main post, you must've missed it).

And I was more interested in the actual usage, although the temp stuff could come in handy (although my comp is so underpowered idk if it could overheat itself :)

I use syspeek : https://launchpad.net/~vicox/+archive/syspeek

It consumes littke resources and it is similar to system monitor.

You can obtain de .tar.gz package from this address: https://launchpad.net/syspeek/+mhilestone/0.2
