Hello, everyone. I'm having trouble getting to the login screen because every time it comes up the screen starts flashing pretty bad and it's unbearable. I can run Ubuntu from the Live CD just fine, but when I boot with the hard drive I can't see a thing.
My video card is an ATI Radeon HD 6870. I attempted installing the proprietary drivers but I couldn't because the screen is nearly unreadable. Is there any way I can solve this? Thanks in advance. I don't know if it's important but GRUB doesn't come up when I turn my computer on.
EDIT: I don't know how, but I was lucky enough to get it to boot normally, then I managed to install the graphics card's drivers. Everything works normally now.
