Need help setting my /home partition to /home after 11.10 upgrade

When I installed 11.10 I just installed /boot and /. Now I have a new home folder in my root partition and my encrypted /home/myname is on the old partition. I want to make the old /home partition my default /home directory.

As and aside, when I try to run Acces-my-private-data.desktop to view my old /home files nothing happens.

I tried playing with the fstab and I couldn't get my home partition to mount at boot.

I just reinstalled and made sure to mount the partition to /home during the install
