Good afternoon Forum members

I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 - works OK except for dual boot (posted separately) don't know how to link two?

Main problem is system will not open a Lexar USB mem stick

Recognises some other USB mem stk OK and USB modem. But my Lexar USB mem stk now will not open. It sort of worked, but a little bit hit and miss sometimes seen sometimes not. I added a heap of JPG photos to it on other PC now Ubuntu will not open it. Plugging in USB brings it up on desktop and file manager but attempting to view/expand folder/file structure results in dreaded rotating wheel of death.

Typing in terminal "lsusb" results in Lexar Media JumpDrive Firefly being listed

Trying to access photos in photo viewer with "Open" results in Error message "Cannot open media etc"

I have put phots on a DVD to view OK but really would prefer to have mem stk work

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Regards
