Hi

I am running 11.10 Server and would like to switch to 11.10 Desktop /w Unity so that I can continue to use the machine as my personal media and web server, but also do some remote desktop sharing.

However, I can't seem to find anything online suggesting how to do this (correctly and in a stable way, of course).

I would love some advice/guidance!

Thanks guys

Jeff

Try
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
It has always worked in versions before 11.10 and I imagine it still will.
