Yesterday we got an update for xserver on 10.4 LTS. Now docky doesn't work properly. I've uninstalled docky and reinstalled with same issue. It blocks out the bottom 1/4 of the screen.

How do I roll back the update and exactly what was it?

try "CairoDock" it's better than "Docky". I've used both.

Well the problem extends beyond docky and does indeed kill my ability to run any effects on the desktop from the most minisqual to what I was using the full blown visual effects.

The problem is with the xserver update. It was fun making my windows do all sorts of cool things but now its like running a win 98 machine. This sucks.

I want to un-upgrade but am unsure of how to accomplish this.
