In Windows, I can right-click on a folder, pick Properties, and check off "Compress to save disk space" - the folder turns blue, and all files in it or copied to it are compressed on the drive.

Can Ubuntu Natty Narwhal do this? I don't want to create an archive file (zip, tar, gz, etc.) - I want to compress the live file data on the drive like Windows does.
