Help! I installed 11.10beta fresh, have it fully updated, and have lately been logging on remotely only, though experiencing certain problems. Just now I tried logging in to an X session locally and cannot! No matter which user, it bumps me right back to the lightdm screen. There are also no options anymore under the little gear icon next to users' names on the lightdm login screen.
I have logged in graphically before, since I installed 11.10...
I can log in to the tty.
Which logs do I look at to diagnose?! Any help appreciated!!
