Hi there,

Is there anyway to get the most updated Ubuntu ISO image (instead of the release one)?

Since the official released ISO doesn't come with all updates that came after..

I hope ubuntu team is been building some kind of 'daily' ISO image within the updates, is that true?

Otherwise Ill to go to LiveCDCustomization..

I am not sure whether the developers make daily images with the updates [after the final release]. I checked some of the relevant cdimages at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com and they are dated 11th to 13th Oct.

As an alternative you can try the minimal iso at
At installation time it downloads all packages. So they will always be up-to-date.

Well, the first problem is that, when you make an iso of the latest version of Ubuntu with the latest updates, that there will always newer updates afterwards. So, making an iso with Ubuntu and the latest updates today will be outdated tomorrow when new updates are available. What do you do then? Creating a new iso? Like this, you will be busy creating a new iso everytime new updates are available.

If you want to do so, install a frsh Ubuntu, download all the latest updates and make an image of it. This will work if you use it for 1 system only. If you have more than 1 system, you have to do this for each system separatly.

But then again, after installing a new and fresh Ubuntu you will be able to download all the updates available and your system is up-to-date!
