can install a pcakge

i just downloaded a deb file from packages.ubuntu.com i want to install amaya how to register this software in my software and also this softwares is avaialble in ubuntu packges

download from:
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/BinDist.html

then install from the download folder (via cd/to/that/folder):

sudo dpkg -i amaya_11.3.1-2-ubuntu_i386.deb (example for the 32 bits package)

i tried to install it from there it does not then i installed form packages.ubuntu
please tell me how to build this
