Can Lightscribe be installed in Ubuntu 11.10?

I have Lightscribe installed in my old Ubuntu 10.04 using force architecture because my Ubuntu is 64 bit. Although I can reboot into the partition with Lightscribe, it would be more convenient to have everything that I use on the new Ubuntu 11.10

I tried the same installation technique that I used on 10.04, but it doesn't appear anywhere. Can it be done?

The answer is an emphatic YES! My installation of Lightscribe was correct, but the new Desktop system was unable to locate it.
After trying very hard to like the newest of the newest, I re-installed the Gnome package and there it was. For many reasons now, Gnome is my hands down choice to use.
