Well I have been running 11.04 for some time on an IBM Z61m and simply luv it...
Upgraded to 11.10 the other day and had several issues that I was unable to resolve and had to reinstall 11.04
All issue gone on reinstall of 11.04 by the way...
Extremal slow network, crackling/popping sound and extreme lag on voice while watching videos...
Found some issue about sound being muted after upgrade but the only posts about crackling popping was from older versions of Ubuntu specifically 11.04 which I do not have as I am sitting here jamming to Zebra...
I will wait for another upgrade attempt much later or until I see more of the same complaints resolved for my problems...
