App switcher and app search appears under other windows

I just installed Ubuntu 11.10 and use it with Unity. When I press alt-tab I get the app switcher, but it appears *under* all my open windows which makes it rather useless.

The same problem happens with the screen you get when you click the ubuntu icon at the top of the Unity dock to the left of the screen (the one where you can search for programs that are installed and start them). This also appears *under* open windows, rendering it useless.

How do I fix this?

I'm not affected & the main bug on this was fixed - but if you read the bottom few comments it seems some still are

The were new compiz packages released today, have you upgraded to them yet? (oneiric-updates

~$ dpkg -s compiz|grep ^Version
Version: 1:0.9.6+bzr20110929-0ubuntu5

And there will be new unity & nux packages available soon, currently in proposed for testing & verification
