After reboot of Wubi, on almost 75% of installation, it hangs. Nothing else happens, so I restarted my laptop and still it hangs on 75%. Please help!

Not sure those specs. will work either with Wubi or regular.

The graphics card, especially, could be a problem.

However, try the suggestions in the first post here:

I've been using my graphics card since 10.04, edited the screen resolution to make it 1280x768. I tried the link, I use 'acpi=off, noapic, nolapic' to boot properly.

Problem with your graphics and physical memory. Ubuntu 11.10 requires high speed processor and graphics . Try Ubuntu 11.04 ,it will work perfectly
