okay im getting tired of false tutorials saying that this and that will work and its bogus.i installed gnome 3 and gnome shell earlier on my 11.04 and unity broke when i did it.things werent operating normally.so i followed a tutorial on how to purge and remove all ppa's and repositories involved.it said it should take me right back to normal....they lied.it put me in recovery mode with just a bare screen and a terminal,no wifi or mouse.tried restoring and that didnt work.had to do another install.my response to fakers please stop posting stuff that wont work.

I have a gnome-shell running in a Natty with the ppa but on a seperate partition so as not
to effect the Unity install. Since it did not come with Gnome-shell as one of the stock choices (Unity and Classic Gnome) and or in repo's but as a ppa might deserve an attempt
on own partition instead of on my main system. Runs real smooth I must say but never
have attempted to run Unity 3d, 2d nor Gnome classic from that install.
