Here is my original thread under 11.04

That fix http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1617549 worked on 11.04 but has not worked on 11.10.
I have tried http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1860574&highlight=wireless but lspci does not have an entry for network
Suggestions please

I've been back into XP and can confirm the card is working properly there so it is a Ubuntu driver problem.
