Is it possible to play Flight Sim in Linux? My brother was going to try it on his PC. Is there Flight Sim software that he can use if he installs Ubuntu on his computer?

X-Plane is a very good flight simulator that runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. www.x-plane.com There's a demo on that website you can try as well.

Get X-Plane, it's inexpensive and far better than anything I've seen out there.

I used to fly avidly in FSX before i switched, and i can say with certainty that X-plane is as good or better in every way. Try it on windows first and see for yourself!

You can download the X-Plane demo from X-plane.com and try it out before you buy it: http://x-plane.com/pg_downloads.html

Be aware that, while X-Plane is cross-platform, not all third party planes will be. It's up to the plane developers to make their custom plugins cross-platform.
