Hi,
I had no problem with Ubuntu 11.04 running on my AMD64 and driving Samsung CLX-2160 printer scanner. I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 and now I cannot print or scan. I tried to install Samsung Unified Linux Driver 3.00.65 but, during the installation the Samsung wizard told that SANE is required even though sane is installed on my computer. What is going on? Is there a more humane way of upgrading Ubuntu without struggling weeks with the printers, web cams, etc.?
I would be very pleased if any of you could help me.
Thanks.
