On a no-shakes AMD Sempron PC with 11.10 just installed after an upgrade, I tried switching users. I get to the login screen, but then anomalies start.
After trying to enter the second user's password, the login pane stops accepting input and the password field vanishes. I can't
enter a password.
I figured out how to go back, though: invoke a terminal via Alt-F1 and then go back to the GUI with Alt-F7. Now I'm back in the session I had just asked to switch out of. (Security hole?)
