Shutdown with oneiric

Upgraded to oneiric (I allways have to use ACPI=OFF to boot my desktop) and since the upgrade, shutdown hangs, I now have to power off with manually, with power off button. version 10.04 that I kept on this desktop on a seperate partition, on this computer,shuts down fine.
Do i report this as a kernel fault or can anyone help.
