Boot screen problem

Recently i installed the new Kubuntu 11.10 with windows 7...after some day i had uninstalled the os. Even though my boot screen showed two option to boot, one is windows and other is kubuntu due to fault in uninstall or some other reason..........
Today i have again installed the kubuntu and now my boot screen shows 3 option,,,Windows 7, kubuntu and kubuntu again....one is fake which i had installed 2 days back.
Give me a solution,pls....

First try
sudo update-grub while in Kubuntu and see if that removes the entry.
