I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and of late am experiencing some unusual lockups, almost like using windows ;)
So far always whilst using Firefox, though having said that I'm mostly browsing so that is likely.
Mouse still moves but I cannot open or close windows, I end up pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 and rebooting from a terminal.
Twice today so far, anyone else had similar.
