This may seem like a silly issue, but the "Activities" text string hangs over the edge of the bar, and I'd like to see if anyone can point me to what I should change in the gnome-shell.css file to fix it. I am using the Elementary Gnome Shell theme if that makes a difference. If the padding can't be changed I'd settle for knowing how to change the font. I successfully changed the font size myself but can't find where to change the actual font used in the Activities bar.
Here's a screenshot.

I'm using the Faience theme and have the same problem. The creator of the theme said he's gonna fix it in the next update, so i guess it's a theming problem and not Gnome3.
But apply the default theme and check if the problem persists.

Thanks for the tip. I applied the default theme and the spacing was fine. Unfortunately I don't like the default theme...haha.
I have contacted the theme's creator to see if there is a fix.
