Gnome3 Panel extends across both monitors

So in Gnome3, using nvidia twinview, the panel extends across both screens. It's just blank on the second monitor, and useless, seeing as you can't add anything to it, or even right click on it. I've almost got gnome3 working about the way I want it, except for this last nagging issue. So close...

Any possible way to span or extend the top panel across to both monitors?

Gnome 3 doesn't seem to have customization on the panels

At the moment I am using Gnome Classic.
