Did the Upgrade to 11.10 Wipe Out My Custom Installed Apps?

I used to have K3B installed for burning music CDs. I can't seem to find it after upgrading to 11.10. Did the upgrade delete K3B - do I have to re-download and reinstall K3B?

I found it in Software Center and my Dash Home - hopefully it'll stay in my App toolbar after running and closing...

With the app running, right click the Launcher icon for it and make sure "Keep in Launcher" is checked off.

You can add icons to the Dash by searching for the app in the Dash and dragging the icon onto the Launcher.

Yeah it didn't stay, so I already figured out to drag and drop onto the Launcher.
