shutdown/Log out ubuntu 11.10

I've upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10. I have a problem with shutdown. When I turn off my PC it do the logout instead the shutdwon

I am having the same problem, I think it came about while customizing things in 11.10

having the same problem, for me it is because of rabbitmq.

So i first run rabbitmqctl stop, after that i can shutdown successfully
